Film Critique

The film was about saving the lives of all the forest people and keeping the life of the forest away from darkness. In this movie the subject it covers is trust and family. You should always trust family no matter how crazy it is in less you truly do know they are crazy. The plot is saving the life of the forest and the setting is within the forest. The major themes of the film is the life within the forest and decay. I thought the movie had great animation within it and the music went really well with it all when it came to something amazing happening or something bad. I think a young person would be very interested in this movie. A weakness of this movie was the music even though it was good, it could of been much better and at one time the action was slow when it had fast action music.

 

What inspired me was all the spooky haunted house that Scooby and Shaggy had to go in when trying to find clues within the show Scooby-doo (I was not actually inspired .-.). For this project I used the burn tool to make things darker, the pain brush to take out certain parts of a image, the quick selection to cut out images quickly for edit, and I changed the hue/saturation to take out certain colors to make it look good with the rest (which didn't work at all). I thought I did very bad on this project in my opinion just to put that out. Please don't make me do something like this again.

 

I had many problems with making certain things with the right diagonal size. Each time I would try it will turn out as this weird skinny or fat picture and just not look right. I will have it be bending too. When trying to make it in the right direction I also had to make the shape much bigger to make it look right. Other than that most things went a lot better than changing the direction of the picture.

     Great concept that I used to do my logos is that when creating my logo I took a simple circle and a thick line creating a pot of gold. I would also pick out some cool fonts but not too complex. Finally I put the number 13 hidden within Lucky.

     You could use almost anyone else's idea as long you don't put down the same name. You can copy someone else's font, design, and color.

I didn't get neat to done at all. Although I used the brush tool for the first time and it actually looks better than the bucket of paint and you can also go into details with it. I also used the magic tool to color in only the area I want to color in but that won't always work and that is when the paint brush is amazing for.

I thought Eddy the Donkey project was just the most frustrating one of all so far, it was fun though. I learned quite a few new things like finding new ways to cut images but while still be able to keep a lot of the details on it, fading in the images, and changing colors to fade into another image to make it look like it is actually real instead of this really bad cut out images.

Movie Poster

It was tough at first of how I was gonna put all the characters together. I then just started thinking of something silly and fun to do and thought "I have the power!" When I thought of that I thought of Thor raising his hammer and having thunder come down upon the hammer. I then just grab some random picture of all the other characters and added one extra character. The extra character is a villain and his name is Malekith the Accursed. I picked him just for the fact that he looks really cool and usually I would think that every poster needs at least one villain on the poster.

I chose blue cause it represents me in various ways like "heaven". I believe in God as my savior and my Christianity as my religion. I am very trustworthy and do not betray my friends. When I am given a challenge I have confidence and faith that I could complete this challenge no matter what the odds are.

The way I came up with my animal is by throwing the letters together in random spots and hopefully get an animal. The "G" is the head, the "Y" is the legs, and the "I" is just this weird body. I have learned how to paste new images on top of letters, painting, and how to type onto the screen (took me about 10 minutes to figure it out.) Finally I would love to use all this to do such amazing animation but I don't think that is good enough so other than that I would want to make just this huge project of a logo with so much detail and spanaz.
